Head of People
bike-componentsHead of People leading the HR function during a critical transformation phase at bike-components. Overseeing team dynamics, structure, and operational HR processes in a hybrid environment.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Take over leadership of a People team and establish clear roles, routines and priorities.
- Ensure stable day-to-day HR operations and provide support to leaders.
- Work closely with executive management to support transformation processes.
- Steer selective recruiting with a focus on critical roles and processes.
- Professionalize onboarding structures to integrate new employees.
- Establish clear processes for salary increases and salary reviews.
- Conduct employee conversations and feedback cycles.
- Take responsibility for personnel cost planning and headcount control in coordination with management.
- Systematically analyze turnover and conduct exit interviews.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Several years of experience in a senior HR role, ideally as an HR Manager or Head of People in mid-sized companies or in transformation and restructuring environments.
- Proven strength in stabilizing and structuring operational people/HR work.
- Experience in compensation processes, performance management and employee discussions.
- Solid labor law knowledge, particularly in separation/termination scenarios.
- Experience in workforce planning, headcount management and HR reporting to management and/or investors.
- Ideally experienced in e-commerce, logistics or comparable operational environments.
- Very good German and English language skills.
