About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Prepare 2D and 3D technical drawings of parts, subassemblies, assemblies and mechanical equipment
Detail components for manufacturing, assembly and maintenance based on technical specifications provided by engineering
Update, review and control drawings according to design changes and review processes
Include in drawings information such as dimensions, tolerances, materials, finishes, welds and other technical requirements
Prepare and maintain bills of materials and technical documentation related to projects
Ensure drawings comply with applicable technical standards, internal standards and manufacturing requirements
Verify consistency between models, drawings, specifications and bills of materials
Support mechanical engineers and designers in the preparation and detailing of technical solutions
Provide support to production, quality, procurement and after-sales/service departments on matters related to engineering documentation
Organize technical files and ensure proper version control and archiving of documentation
Contribute to the standardization of drawings and to the continuous improvement of technical detailing processes

Requirements

What you’ll need

Technical degree in Mechanical, Electromechanical, Mechatronics or related fields
University studies in progress will be considered a plus
Experience creating and reviewing mechanical technical drawings
Experience with 2D and 3D CAD software
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
Familiarity with technical drawing standards, tolerances and mechanical specifications
Understanding of manufacturing processes, assembly and materials
Knowledge of bills of materials and technical document control
Intermediate MS Office skills
Experience in an industrial environment or in the metalworking/metal-mechanics sector (advantage)
Experience with PDM/PLM or ERP systems (advantage)
Knowledge of industrial equipment or solutions for agribusiness (advantage)
Technical English for reading documents (advantage)
