About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Prepare 2D and 3D technical drawings of parts, subassemblies, assemblies and mechanical equipment
- Detail components for fabrication, assembly and maintenance based on technical specifications provided by engineering
- Update, revise and control drawings according to design changes and review processes
- Include information in drawings such as dimensions, tolerances, materials, finishes, welds and other technical requirements
- Prepare and maintain bills of materials (BOMs) and project-related technical documentation
- Ensure drawings comply with applicable technical standards, internal standards and manufacturing requirements
- Verify consistency between models, drawings, specifications and bills of materials
- Support mechanical engineers and designers in preparing and detailing technical solutions
- Provide support to production, quality, purchasing and technical service on engineering documentation matters
- Organize technical files and ensure proper version control and archiving of documentation
- Contribute to the standardization of drawings and the continuous improvement of technical detailing processes
Requirements
What you’ll need- Technical diploma in Mechanical, Electromechanical, Mechatronics or related fields
- Ongoing university studies will be considered an advantage
- Experience in creating and reviewing mechanical technical drawings
- Proficiency in 2D and 3D CAD software
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Familiarity with drawing standards, tolerances and mechanical specifications
- Understanding of manufacturing processes, assembly and materials
- Knowledge of bills of materials and technical document control
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Experience in an industrial environment or the metalworking industry is a plus
- Experience with PDM/PLM or ERP systems
- Knowledge of industrial equipment or solutions for agribusiness
- Technical English for reading documents
