About the role
- Execute and review accounting entries, including provisions, accruals and reclassifications, ensuring consistency and data quality;
- Perform analyses, reconciliations and validations of accounting balances;
- Prepare and analyze financial statements and management reports;
- Lead the monthly and annual accounting close processes, meeting deadlines and ensuring the accuracy of deliverables;
- Monitor and interpret changes in accounting and tax legislation, assess impacts and support necessary adjustments;
- Provide support to internal areas (e.g., Tax, Controllership, FP&A, Audit) in technical discussions and in understanding the accounting impacts of operations;
- Keep documentation organized and up to date, ensuring traceability, compliance and support for internal/external audits;
- Ensure the accuracy, reliability and compliance of accounting records with applicable standards and legislation;
- Propose and implement process and internal control improvements to drive efficiency, reduce risk and standardize procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting;
- Preferred: English and Spanish;
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in industrial companies.
