About the role

  • Sell equipment and solutions for insect production, acquire new customers and partners, and maintain long-term customer relationships through technical consulting and after-sales support.
  • Manage the planning and technical coordination of projects, integrate various subsystems, and monitor costs, tenders, and collaboration with internal engineering teams.
  • Coordinate sales activities and ensure consistent product positioning and project execution within the Big Dutchman group.
  • Plan and implement trade shows, events, and marketing initiatives, and represent the company at conferences.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with stakeholders, associations, and regulatory authorities, and represent the company in working groups and standardization committees.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Agricultural Engineering.
  • Additional training or experience in animal nutrition or sustainable agriculture is a plus.
  • Experience in B2B technical sales or in the agritech/biotech sector preferred.
  • Strong analytical and structured thinking with a proactive working style.
  • Good communication, negotiation, and networking skills.
  • Proven ability to manage cross-functional international projects.
  • Fluent in German and English (spoken and written); additional languages are an advantage.
  • Willingness to travel internationally (~30–40%).
