About the role
- Create efficient daily driver schedules to maximise deliveries and reduce transit times.
- Assign drivers based on availability and route demand for smooth, reliable operations.
- Monitor vehicles, coordinate maintenance, and respond to breakdowns to keep the fleet running.
- Maintain accurate transport and safety documentation to meet regulatory and company standards.
- Promote safe driving, investigate incidents, and implement corrective actions.
- Oversee safety checks, inspections, and issue resolution across all transport operations.
- Manage enquiries, office tasks, and contract administration efficiently.
- Provide out-of-hours assistance to handle urgent operational issues and maintain service continuity.
Requirements
- A proven track record of supervising a Logistic operation.
- Previous experience of customer experience management and strategy.
- Previous experience controlling fleet activities.
- Previous experience managing large teams.
- Experience of preparing month end reports
- Proven ability to working within timescales and meeting deadlines
- Proven track record of delivering commercial targets
