About the role
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Operations Team based at St Austell depot.
- Ensure all administrative duties and responsibilities for the Cornwall Council waste and recycling contract are met.
- Report to the Business Manager for the depot.
- Be flexible and willing to support administrative elements of the Contract.
- Provide occasional administrative support at other depots within the Cornwall region as required.
- Use MS Office, mobile devices and tablets to manage data and administrative tasks.
- Monitor and measure data and take appropriate corrective action; manage conflicts and negotiate outcomes.
Requirements
- Experience in an administration role for at least 12 months.
- Excellent customer service and organisational skills.
- Ability to delegate, train, lead and monitor teams, whilst also being a team player.
- Strong IT systems skills and the ability to use MS Office, Mobile devices and Tablets.
- Ability to deal with conflict and negotiate/manage the appropriate outcome.
- Analytical with the ability to measure and monitor data and take appropriate corrective action.
- Able to communicate at all levels, both in verbal & written form.
