Ensure the latest technology and industry-leading practices to implement efficiency and sustainability
Execute planned maintenance activities (inspections, monitoring and routine)
Provide technical feedback to improve job plans and task lists within the CMMS
Maintain maintenance documents and drawings to required standard for legal compliance
Diagnose complex electrical, control, fibre, Profibus communication issues
Report poor maintenance practices and deviations from Maintenance Management Framework
Use CMMS for work orders and recording time, spares and resources
Assist in mechanical plant upgrades and ensure CLEER/Capex forms are completed on time
Requirements
A minimum electrical qualification (industrial facing) at NVQ level 3, BTEC ONC/OND, NVQ IV/V, BTEC HNC/HND level
Strong fault diagnosis and rectification on control systems (PLCs, SCADA etc) and electrical systems and circuits from 24V d.c up to 415V a.c
18th Edition qualified
Good working knowledge on electrical installations, electrical testing, lighting maintenance, in service inspection and testing of electrical equipment
Competent in the use of testing equipment and other hand tools used in maintenance activities
Excellent understanding of health, safety, and environmental compliance
Working knowledge of Electricity At Work Regulations (EaWR 1989) and PTW and LOTO systems
Experience diagnosing fibre and Profibus communication issues
Working knowledge of CMMS systems for work orders, time, spares and resource recording
