About the role

  • Identify, develop and close new business opportunities in West Yorkshire.
  • Build and manage a strong pipeline of profitable new business opportunities.
  • Sell contracted services into commercial sectors across your territory.
  • Meet and exceed quarterly/annual sales targets.
  • Create and present strategic sales plans, reports, and forecasts.
  • Work closely with Regional Commercial and Depot Managers to align campaigns and local strategies.
  • Act as the main point of contact between Biffa and prospective customers.
  • Lead pricing negotiations and tailor solutions to fit client needs.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in new business sales—especially selling contracted services.
  • A track record of consistently exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent prospecting, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
  • Highly motivated, goal-driven, and able to work autonomously.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Ability to travel across West Yorkshire.
