About the role
- Overseeing the financial management Biffa Polymers, ensuring accurate financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Managing financial compliance and contract obligations, identifying and mitigating risks, and leading the finance team.
- Engage with key stakeholders, including public authorities and financial institutions, to ensure effective contract management.
- Support audits, ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Contribute to the strategic direction of the business by aligning financial objectives with organisational goals.
- Develop budgets and strategic forecasts in line with a 5-year planning process.
- Annual budget responsibility.
Requirements
- Strong experience in financial management, and leading finance teams.
- Commercial acumen, with the ability to robustly challenge financial models and drive profitability.
- Experience in contract management, including risk management, compliance, and audit.
