About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Work closely with current accounts and seek/capture new customers.
  • Act as a consultant to help customers successfully buy and sell products using the bidadoo platform.
  • Build long-term customer relationships and profitably grow revenues in their territories.
  • Aggressively source new business opportunities for weekly auctions and marketplace through networking, cold calling, social media outreach, advertising, and direct mailings.
  • Create and execute an ongoing strategic plan to effectively develop and manage the assigned territory driving growth and profitability.
  • Consult with customers on the valuation and sales estimates of machinery and equipment.
  • Communicate and provide a great customer experience supporting bidadoo values and brand promise.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • A minimum of 3 years of proven sales experience, including outside/field sales.
  • Proven revenue attainment record through proactive lead generation and consultative selling techniques.
  • Have excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Have excellent business presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in basic computer skills and applications.
  • Background in the areas which would be helpful include: new and used equipment sales, equipment rental, business valuation and appraisal consulting, equipment auctions, etc.
  • Familiarity and experience with internet technologies and sales desired.
