Area Sales Manager
bidadooArea Sales Manager for bidadoo handling customer accounts and sourcing new business opportunities across Los Angeles. Collaborating with key decision-makers in equipment-related industries to grow revenues.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Work closely with current accounts and seek/capture new customers.
- Act as a consultant to help customers successfully buy and sell products using the bidadoo platform.
- Build long-term customer relationships and profitably grow revenues in their territories.
- Aggressively source new business opportunities for weekly auctions and marketplace through networking, cold calling, social media outreach, advertising, and direct mailings.
- Create and execute an ongoing strategic plan to effectively develop and manage the assigned territory driving growth and profitability.
- Consult with customers on the valuation and sales estimates of machinery and equipment.
- Communicate and provide a great customer experience supporting bidadoo values and brand promise.
Requirements
What you’ll need- A minimum of 3 years of proven sales experience, including outside/field sales.
- Proven revenue attainment record through proactive lead generation and consultative selling techniques.
- Have excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Have excellent business presentation skills.
- Proficiency in basic computer skills and applications.
- Background in the areas which would be helpful include: new and used equipment sales, equipment rental, business valuation and appraisal consulting, equipment auctions, etc.
- Familiarity and experience with internet technologies and sales desired.
