Operationalize your work by integrating models into production workflows used across the business.
Work closely with domain experts across the business to extract knowledge that improves model specification and supports effective validation.
Communicate results clearly and in a way that makes intuitive sense, so others can understand them, trust them, and act on them with confidence.
Ensure all work is reproducible, well-organized, and appropriately documented, making it easy to review and build upon.
Deliver decision-ready outputs backed by rigorous validation, sense checks, and quality control.
Requirements
5+ years of experience in applied data science or statistical modeling; experience in insurance or actuarial domains is a strong plus.
Strong intuition for probabilistic reasoning and the principles underlying statistical modeling.
Knowledgeable about Bayesian methods, hierarchical modeling, and simulation-based techniques.
Proficient in Python (or R) and SQL for data manipulation and analysis, and familiarity with probabilistic programming libraries like PyMC or Stan.
Experience leveraging AI tools to accelerate workflows, with a clear understanding of their limitations and the safeguards needed for quality, privacy, and security.
Strong organizational skills, acute attention to detail, and a preference for taking a methodical approach to analysis and problem-solving.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and an eagerness to collaborate across disciplines.
