Credit Policy & Strategy Development: Support the design, testing, and refinement of credit strategies, underwriting rules, and decisioning models across consumer and/or commercial lending portfolios.
Data Analysis & Reporting: Conduct deep-dive analyses on credit performance, borrower behavior, and portfolio trends using SQL and Python.
Risk Monitoring: Develop dashboards and reporting frameworks to monitor credit risk metrics, delinquency, loss rates, and profitability.
Experimentation & Testing: Partner with product and operations teams to execute A/B tests and measure the impact of new credit policies, marketing strategies, or borrower segments.
Model Support: Collaborate with data science teams to integrate new risk models and ensure alignment with credit policy and regulatory requirements.
Stakeholder Communication: Present actionable insights and recommendations to senior management, risk committees, and cross-functional teams.
Process Automation: Build automated workflows and analytical tools to improve efficiency in reporting and decision-making.
Requirements
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
1-3 years of relevant work experience in analytical projects and reporting, preferably in the Financial Services industry
Understanding of retail and small business loan products, preferably unsecured loans and credit cards
Understanding of profitability drivers for loan and credit card products, including interest rate structure, cost of funds, operating expenses, fees, and loss
Familiarity with credit strategies, risk, and pricing is preferred. Deep understanding of risk and profitability management for the entire customer life-cycle
Proficient with SQL, R, Python, Power BI, Excel, and PowerPoint
Strong stakeholder management experiences
Ability to develop roadmaps and prioritize workload
Experiences with designing and implementing A/B tests
Ability to initiate and drive projects to completion with minimal guidance
Strong written and verbal communications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Math, Physics, Engineering or related quantitative fields
