About the role
- Support the SEO/AEO roadmap by executing on-page, off-page, and technical initiatives that improve visibility in both traditional search and AI-driven platforms.
- Conduct keyword and prompt research to identify emerging opportunities across Google, Bing, and generative AI engines (ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, etc.).
- Manage ongoing schema implementation and validation using SchemaApp (FAQ, Product, Dataset, Review, and Breadcrumb schema).
- Monitor and report on AI visibility and citation share using Profound and other analytics tools.
- Optimize key product and conversion pages for engagement, crawlability, and structured data richness.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Content, PR, Web, Product, Partnerships, and Analytics teams to ensure unified SEO/AEO strategy execution.
- Partner with agency teams to align priorities, share insights, and ensure deliverables contribute to performance goals.
- Identify and escalate opportunities for content refreshes, internal linking improvements, and crawl efficiency.
- Maintain performance dashboards and contribute to quarterly KPI reporting across visibility, sentiment, and authority metrics.
Requirements
- Proficiency with SEO analytics and optimization tools: Google Search Console, Semrush, Screaming Frog, Profound, SchemaApp.
- Solid understanding of structured data (JSON-LD) and validation tools (Google Rich Results Test, Schema.org).
- Familiarity with web analytics platforms (Adobe Analytics, Power BI).
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript for troubleshooting on-page SEO issues.
- Ability to analyze large datasets to surface actionable SEO and discoverability insights.
- Understanding of AI-driven search trends and how content surfaces in LLM responses.
- Strong command of search intent analysis and mapping keywords/prompts to the customer journey.
- Experience building content briefs or SERP gap analyses to guide content strategy.
- Ability to connect SEO data with business outcomes (traffic, leads, funded amount).
- Curiosity about AI, generative search, and the future of discoverability.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; able to present findings clearly to cross-functional teams.
