About the role

  • Define and drive the AI innovation roadmap within Salesforce, aligning platform capabilities with business goals.
  • Identify high-value use cases where AI can transform customer experience, productivity, and operational efficiency.
  • Architect scalable, secure Salesforce solutions that integrate AI services (Einstein, Copado AI, Anthropic, OpenAI, FICO Blaze, Provenir, etc.).
  • Lead the integration of AI agents and decisioning engines into Salesforce workflows and automation.
  • Govern Salesforce data models, APIs, and integrations to ensure accurate, compliant AI execution.
  • Lead proofs of concept and pilots for AI-driven Salesforce capabilities (auto-decisioning, predictive lead scoring, intelligent case routing, etc.).
  • Establish reusable AI design patterns and best practices for Salesforce development.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to embed AI into the SDLC—from requirements and QA to deployment.
  • Ensure all AI implementations meet enterprise standards for security, auditability, and regulatory compliance (SOC2, GDPR, CCPA, etc.).
  • Partner with Risk and Compliance teams to validate AI fairness, explainability, and accountability.
  • Serve as the Salesforce-AI subject matter expert for engineering leadership and business executives.
  • Mentor architects and engineers on scalable AI adoption and best practices.
  • Partner with Data & AI teams to seamlessly integrate models into Salesforce applications.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of Salesforce experience, including 5+ years in an Architect role (Technical, Solution, or Enterprise).
  • Expertise with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and integrations.
  • Hands-on experience with AI/ML technologies (Salesforce Einstein, Copado AI, OpenAI/Anthropic APIs, TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.).
  • Strong knowledge of integration frameworks (MuleSoft, Azure APIM, REST/SOAP, event-driven architecture).
  • Proven record of delivering AI-enabled Salesforce solutions at scale.
  • Deep understanding of data governance, compliance, and model risk management in regulated industries (finance, healthcare, etc.).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Salesforce certifications (Application Architect, System Architect, Technical Architect, or AI Specialist) strongly preferred.
