About the role
- Design, develop, and maintain data processing pipelines to support business and client needs.
- Build and optimize Power BI reports for data visualization and decision support.
- Apply statistical methods and machine learning techniques to analyze datasets and extract insights.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Write clean, efficient, and scalable code in C# and Python for long-term engineering projects.
- Ensure best practices in data quality, performance, and security are followed.
Requirements
- 5 years of experience in commercial software development experience.
- Must have strong coding skills in C# and Python.
- Must have experience with Azure cloud and Azure DevOps development.
- Must have strong proficiency in Power BI – able to leverage Power BI functions for data processing and analysis.
- Good to have statistical knowledge – capable of applying statistical methods, e.g., identifying variations and trends in datasets.
- Strong background in data science and statistics (machine learning knowledge preferred).
- Hands-on experience with data processing and ETL pipelines.
- Proficiency with Power BI for reporting and visualization.
- Solid understanding of system design and coding best practices.
- Nice to Have: Experience with Azure Data Factory or other cloud-based data platforms.
- Familiarity with AI/ML infrastructure and modern data engineering tools.
