About the role

Short-term focus on data processing and Power BI reporting; longer-term expansion into broader engineering projects requiring strong programming in C# and Python.
Design, develop, and maintain data processing pipelines to support business and client needs.
Build and optimize Power BI reports for data visualization and decision support.
Apply statistical methods and machine learning techniques to analyze datasets and extract insights.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Write clean, efficient, and scalable code in C# and Python for long-term engineering projects.
Ensure best practices in data quality, performance, and security are followed.

Fully remote, experienced Software Development Engineer (SDE) with 3+ years of commercial software development experience. (position summary)
5 years of experience in commercial software development experience. (minimum qualifications)
Strong coding skills in C# and Python.
Experience with Azure cloud and Azure DevOps development.
Strong proficiency in Power BI – able to leverage Power BI functions for data processing and analysis.
Good to have statistical knowledge – capable of applying statistical methods, e.g., identifying variations and trends in datasets.
Strong background in data science and statistics (machine learning knowledge preferred).
Hands-on experience with data processing and ETL pipelines.
Proficiency with Power BI for reporting and visualization.
Solid understanding of system design and coding best practices.
Nice to have: Experience with Azure Data Factory or other cloud-based data platforms.
Nice to have: Familiarity with AI/ML infrastructure and modern data engineering tools.
