Requirements
Strong skills in automation using Playwright, Cypress, Pytest, Pact (contract testing), Karate (API), and k6 (performance)
Preferred experience building automated end-to-end test suites from scratch for native and hybrid iOS/Android apps using Appium 2, Detox (React Native), Espresso; plus experience with device farms (BrowserStack/Sauce Labs) and CI integration (GitHub Actions/Bitbucket Pipelines)
Experience in manual testing on mobile and tablet devices and virtual devices with BrowserStack
Strong manual cross-browser UI testing experience with deep CMS proficiency (Contentful, WordPress, Webflow): comfortable with content models, roles/permissions, authoring workflows, localisation, preview/publishing, and on-page SEO metadata
Experience with AI-assisted testing (test generation/maintenance)
Experience with accessibility testing (axe, Playwright/Lighthouse a11y checks) and performance monitoring (Lighthouse CI/WebPageTest), adhering to WCAG 2.2
Security basics (OWASP; auth flows—OAuth2), data privacy in tests
Ability to create a full suite of QA industry-standard documentation throughout the project lifecycle
Practical, hands-on experience in QA practices, such as behaviour-driven development (BDD) and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD)
Experience of prior UX and Web testing to facilitate Three Amigos sessions from a QA perspective
Extensive web API testing experience, manual and automation testing using Postman or Insomnia, plus code-first frameworks (REST Assured, Karate, Pytest + HTTPX/Requests) with contract testing (Pact), auth (OAuth/JWT), and CI integration
Experience managing and prioritising multiple activities, across multiple projects, while ensuring output quality
Clear, professional communication with cross-functional teams and clients
Experience with Jira, Asana or a similar project management/bug tracking tool
Exposure to Figma, Slack & Storybook with a keen focus on UX and design fidelity and accessibility
