About the role

  • Administer, tune and troubleshoot SQL Server.
  • Manage cloud environments, preferably AWS.
  • Perform backup/restore and replication.
  • Ensure high availability and performance tuning in critical production environments.
  • Collaborate with teams to implement effective solutions.

Requirements

  • Strong expertise in SQL Server (administration, performance tuning, troubleshooting).
  • Hands-on experience as a DBA in cloud environments, preferably AWS.
  • Knowledge of Backup/Restore, Replication, Always On / High Availability, and Performance Tuning.
  • Experience working with critical production environments.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
  • Previous experience in financial institutions is a plus.
  • Knowledge of other databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle).
  • Experience with database monitoring tools.
  • Basic knowledge of security, compliance and LGPD (Brazilian General Data Protection Law).
  • Experience with automation/scripts (PowerShell, T-SQL).
