About the role
- Translate product strategy and senior leadership direction into actionable requirements across international markets, ensuring alignment with global technical capabilities and business objectives.
- Participate actively in Agile ceremonies: backlog refinement, sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews and retrospectives.
- Maintain and continuously refine the product backlog, ensuring it is detailed, estimated, and prioritised for delivery.
- Work closely with engineering teams to plan sprints, clarify requirements, remove blockers, and ensure smooth delivery.
- Coordinate day-to-day execution, ensuring development work aligns with defined goals and deadlines.
- Ensure features are delivered to a high standard through UAT, testing coordination, and quality checks.
- Monitor progress, gather data/feedback, and drive iterative improvements to the product.
- Work with Engineering to break down work, size effort, and ensure feasibility.
- Collaborate with Product Marketing Managers on product launch readiness, feature positioning, documentation, and customer communications.
- Engage with Customer Success, Support, and Sales teams to gather practical insights, validate requirements, and triage issues.
- Maintain detailed product documentation, release notes, and internal guides.
- Track and analyse product performance metrics to identify gaps and operational improvements.
- Support prioritisation and decision-making using data, customer feedback, and internal input.
- Manage bugs, tech debt items, and smaller enhancements to keep products running smoothly.
- Coordinate stakeholder updates, ensuring all teams are informed about timelines, releases, and ongoing work.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar delivery-focused role in a complex tech business.
- Experience working in SaaS, API, or multi-product platforms.
- Familiarity with international product rollouts and compliance considerations (desirable).
- Exposure to customer-facing products in fast-growth environments.
- Hands-on experience with backlog management, user stories, acceptance criteria, and sprint planning.
- Exposure to fast-moving product environments where speed, quality, and adaptability are critical.
- Demonstrated ability to challenge assumptions, influence stakeholders, and improve processes.
- Experience collaborating with engineering, product marketing, and commercial teams.
- Comfortable with technical concepts and able to converse confidently with engineering teams about architecture, integrations, and dependencies.
