About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and manage relationships with independent insurance brokers and agency partners within targeted verticals
  • Position BevCap as a specialty partner and resource for complex risk and captive solutions
  • Educate brokers on program structure, underwriting approach, and ideal client profiles
  • Build a network of consistent referral and production partners
  • Drive adoption and growth of BevCap’s captive and alternative risk programs
  • Identify and qualify opportunities sourced through broker partners
  • Collaborate with internal teams to evaluate, structure, and place risks within programs
  • Provide strategic input to enhance program design, market positioning, and scalability
  • Support broker partners through the full deal lifecycle, including: Opportunity qualification, Data gathering and underwriting strategy, Program design and proposal development, Final presentation and close
  • Execute targeted outreach strategies to expand broker penetration in defined verticals
  • Represent BevCap at industry events, trade associations, and broker meetings
  • Partner with account managers, consultants, and leadership to ensure successful program execution and partner satisfaction

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 3–7+ years of experience in P&C insurance, ideally in: Wholesale brokerage, Program business, Carrier/BGA distribution OR retail production with captive experience
  • Strong understanding of core P&C coverages
  • Exposure to or interest in captives, large deductibles, or alternative risk structures
  • Proven ability to build and maintain external business relationships
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly
  • Highly organized and capable of managing a multi-opportunity pipeline
  • P&C license (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
  • Self-starter with the ability to operate independently and drive results.
