About the role
- Conduct comprehensive economic and financial analysis of clients, with critical review of balance sheets, income statements, cash flow, indebtedness, capital structure, liquidity, profitability and cash generation capacity;
- Assess clients' repayment capacity and operational execution ability, considering payment history, portfolio of contracts/projects, receivables profile (especially public-sector receivables), risk concentration, collateral and overall credit exposure;
- Analyze the client's market positioning, industry sector, level of competitiveness, dependency on public or private contracts, business cycle and sensitivity to economic variations;
- Monitor the macroeconomic and sectoral environment (interest rates, inflation, credit, infrastructure investments, public budgets, bank funding), evaluating direct impacts on clients' financial capacity and on portfolio risk;
- Calculate and review credit limits and requirements based on sales schedules, contracted volumes, prices, exposure already granted, existing collateral and risk profile;
- Propose updates to the Credit Policy, considering economic and regulatory changes, market practices, financial costs, collateral enforcement and competitors' strategies;
- Structure, enhance and operationalize credit analysis models, rating criteria, risk segmentation and mitigation instruments;
- Develop and monitor risk indicators (aging, concentration, exposure, delinquency, payment behavior);
- Contribute to the automation of analyses, information security and the use of analytical tools and dashboards to support decision-making.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, Production Engineering or related fields;
- Knowledge of the dynamics of different funding sources (equity, bank credit, receivables, public contracts);
- Proficiency in financial statement analysis, income statements, cash flow and financial indicators;
- Knowledge of corporate finance and financial mathematics;
- Knowledge of credit analysis techniques and risk management;
- Market analysis and assessment of macro and microeconomic trends;
- Advanced Excel skills;
- Experience with Power BI and building analytical dashboards;
- Basic understanding of legislation related to credit, collateral and enforcement;
- Experience in credit analysis, preferably in infrastructure, construction, industrial or B2B services sectors;
- Experience analyzing financial statements, risk assessment, market reading and client monitoring;
- Experience with competitor analysis, the economic environment and sectoral movements;
