Design and execute research studies using a variety of methods including usability testing, in-depth interviews, diary studies, etc.
Own the end-to-end research process within your domain including prioritizing & scoping, recruiting participants, collecting data, synthesizing and analyzing data, and delivering findings
Partner closely with cross-functional team members in identifying key research objectives and questions to address research needs across the product lifecycle
Translate research findings into actionable insights, and strategic narratives through compelling storytelling and creative artifacts, reports, and read-outs
Communicate research findings, insights, and recommendations clearly and effectively to key stakeholders, including senior leadership
Requirements
1-3 years of relevant experience in Design Research, UX Research or Human Factors Engineering (Bonus if you have industry experience)
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Psychology, Human Factors, HCI, Anthropology, or related field
Strong proficiency with qualitative or mixed-methods research and executing both evaluative and generative studies
A portfolio or case studies highlighting your end-to-end research process and the impact your work had on an organization, team, product, and/or feature
Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with and influence stakeholders
Experience with remote testing tools (e.g., dscout, UserTesting, UserZoom, etc.)
A deep curiosity and passion for uncovering user needs, motivations, behaviors, and pain points
Bonus points for having comfort/familiarity with quantitative methods (e.g., surveys, log data analysis) or an interest in developing those skills
