About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Maintain and update accurate financial records using accounting software (Xero preferred).
Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process.
Manage accounting functions, including accounts receivable and accounts payable.
Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts regularly.
Generate financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Communicate with clients, vendors, and other stakeholders regarding financial matters, as needed.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Degree or certification in bookkeeping, accounting, finance, or a related field.
Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar finance-related role.
Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles.
Proficiency in Xero and Microsoft Excel.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Prior experience working in the Australian market would be a plus.
