Key responsibilities & impact

Drive the evolution and stabilization of our central authentication systems
Own and improve the observability, scalability, security, and cost-efficiency of our infrastructure
Implement infrastructure-as-code across our ecosystems
Provide mentorship to platform senior engineers
Implement the company vision by championing a DevOps culture
Constructively challenge technical directions and share insights openly

Requirements

What you’ll need

Deep proficiency and hands-on experience working in the AWS environment
Strong background in system operations, specifically Linux/Unix
Proficiency in a programming language such as Python (or similar)
At least 2 years of proven experience actively mentoring other engineers
Security-minded approach to platform engineering
Demonstrated ability to constructively challenge viewpoints while keeping alignment with the organization’s best interests
Preference for a hybrid setup combining remote flexibility with 2 days per week on-site collaboration in our Kreuzberg office
