About the role
- Create user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity prototypes that address clear user and business needs.
- Conduct lightweight user research and usability testing to explore pain points and validate concepts.
- Identify UI/UX issues across product surfaces and propose pragmatic improvements.
- Write clear design specs and collaborate with engineers to support smooth handoff and implementation.
- Work cross-functionally with Product, Data, and Engineering to define problems and contribute to new feature delivery.
- Leverage qualitative and quantitative data to iterate on shipped experiences and improve performance.
- Participate in design critiques and team rituals, contributing to shared standards and best practices.
- Support documentation and maintenance of design patterns, in partnership with senior designers and design system contributors.
Requirements
- 1–2+ years of experience in product design or related roles.
- Portfolio showcasing user flows, interface design, prototypes, and shipped work.
- Familiarity with Figma and modern design tools.
- Curiosity and eagerness to understand user behavior, mental models, and product constraints.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to balance user needs, business goals, and technical constraints.
- Comfort iterating quickly with feedback from users, PMs, engineers, and data partners.
