About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Analyze, develop and optimize tailored software architectures for diverse clients and business processes
Develop and evaluate technical concepts, advise clients and align solutions
Lead development efforts and coach your team in implementation
Act as the primary point of contact responsible for successful technical implementation
Use your understanding of legacy IT systems through cloud and microservices to ensure the long-term viability of our solutions within clients' system landscapes
Apply your expertise to identify technical complexity and work with your team and the client to reduce it
Provide technical leadership for a team of 5 to 10 colleagues across all areas — from requirements analysis through development to Go-Live and DevOps.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Several years of professional experience in software development, ideally in client projects
Successfully led teams as a lead developer or technical architect in projects
Experience developing object-oriented software architecture in Java
Good knowledge of standards and methods for software architecture design, i.e., IT design of application systems and web applications
A university degree in computer science or a comparable program with an IT focus
Good German and English language skills
