About the role
- Deeply engage with a group of Product Management and UX Design stakeholders to understand respective product development priorities and identify research needs;
- Groom the user research portfolio for a specific product area;
- Plan, design, and execute user research studies, including interviews and usability testing, to understand user needs, expectations, and routines.
- Analyze and interpret research results to generate actionable recommendations for improving BetMGM product experiences.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations summarizing research findings and outlining actionable recommendations.
- Effectively communicate research insights to team stakeholders to influence decision-making processes.
- Help familiarize product managers and designers with basic user research methods and interviewing best practices.
Requirements
- 3-5 years prior experience as User Researcher or similar role running evaluation research projects end-to-end
- Demonstrated ability to conduct user interviews and formulate impromptu follow-up questions
- Comfort effectively presenting research findings and articulating recommendations or next steps
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, design, psychology, or equivalent experience
- Can craft professional-quality documents that are clearly written and formatted effectively
- A portfolio of work containing case studies showcasing how you execute product evaluations, and present recommendations for designing best-in-class digital product experiences.
- Familiarity with sports betting or casino game play
- Familiarity with Scrum or other agile product development methodologies
- Advanced degree in marketing, statistics, product design, human factors, or HCI.
