About the role
- As the Art Director for the BetMGM Creative team, you will be accountable for the ideation and creation for every phase of the creative lifecycle.
- Through collaboration with the creative team and key marketing stakeholders, the Art Director will support in developing the visual look and feel that supports the idea.
- Responsible for developing high-impact, iconic and culturally relevant creative for consumer marketing, advertising, content, and experiences across TV, OOH, social, experiential, and more.
- Develops creative concepts and high-impact visuals in partnership with our multidisciplinary teams.
- This work encompasses large, complex personalized and/or general advertising campaigns and content across multiple audiences and channels for a variety of business area(s).
- Develops presentations of creative concepts and visual approaches to business areas and key stakeholders to gain their support — while also collecting and applying appropriate feedback to concepts.
- Bring marketing strategies to life by creating, designing, and executing initiatives across multiple channels.
- Participates in process improvements that impact the quality, efficiencies, and value of the department.
- Consults with creative directors, production, brand team, external agencies and/or strategy partner to ensure project- and brand-level goals are achievable.
- Establishes meaningful relationships and trust with key stakeholders, connecting project teams and strategic partners both inside and outside the company.
Requirements
- 5 + years of Art Director experience, ideally with an emphasis in content ideation
- A versatile portfolio that showcases a broad range of work in design, conceptual thinking, and execution
- A Bachelor’s degree in design, marketing, communication, motion design/animation or relevant experience
- The ability to create large narrative-informed concepts big enough to drive every facet of brand
- An expert in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office
- Advanced knowledge of design principles and systems, content design, brand development, creative strategy, and has an eye on emerging channels and media.
- An avid learner of all things design: design systems, typography, interaction design, technology and beyond.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Successfully communicate and collaborate with project teams, creative and brand leaders, multiple business areas, divisions, and external vendors.
- Project management skills — with the ability to effectively prioritize, manage and execute numerous projects simultaneously with minimal supervision.
- A high level of attention to detail and highly self-motivated to do incredible work that elevates the brand
- Familiarity with Workfront or similar project/task management platforms is a strong plus.
- Experience using Frontify, Lytho, or comparable digital asset management systems is highly valued.
