About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the Virtualist Program Tuesday through Saturday, 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., with Mondays off
  • Assist in delivering high-quality, safe clinical care as part of a clinical team
  • Enhance patient satisfaction and provider efficiency through collaborative patient care
  • Work with healthcare providers on daily needs and schedules
  • Take patient vital signs
  • Document medical history in the EMR system
  • Provide patients and families with medical information
  • Help ensure timely patient care delivery

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Graduate of an Accredited Medical Assistant program, or Medical Assistant Certification (AAMA, CCMA, RMA, NCMA), or minimum 5 years' experience working as a Medical Assistant
  • Achieves and maintains Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through American Heart Association within 90 days of hire
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical skills
  • Basic computer skills
  • Critical thinking and good judgment
  • Good organizational skills and ability to multitask
  • Ability to work Tuesday through Saturday, 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., with Mondays off
  • Must be vaccinated against influenza as a condition of employment
