About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support the Virtualist Program Tuesday through Saturday, 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., with Mondays off
Assist in delivering high-quality, safe clinical care as part of a clinical team
Enhance patient satisfaction and provider efficiency through collaborative patient care
Work with healthcare providers on daily needs and schedules
Take patient vital signs
Document medical history in the EMR system
Provide patients and families with medical information
Help ensure timely patient care delivery

Requirements

What you’ll need

High School Diploma or equivalent required
Graduate of an Accredited Medical Assistant program, or Medical Assistant Certification (AAMA, CCMA, RMA, NCMA), or minimum 5 years' experience working as a Medical Assistant
Achieves and maintains Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through American Heart Association within 90 days of hire
Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
Knowledge of medical terminology
Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical skills
Basic computer skills
Critical thinking and good judgment
Good organizational skills and ability to multitask
Ability to work Tuesday through Saturday, 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., with Mondays off
Must be vaccinated against influenza as a condition of employment
