About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support HR Business Partners in managing the employee lifecycle
- Advise, inform, and facilitate discussions with HR Business Partners
- Participate in Human Resources projects, activities, programs, and workflow improvements
- Manage onboarding activities and facilitate new-employee orientation when needed
- Respond to employee and manager inquiries about policies, processes, and administration
- Provide transaction-management and operational support to HR staff and business partners
- Support and promote Workday self-service capabilities
- Track HR metrics, analyze data, prepare reports, and distribute activity information
- Participate in compliance audits and ensure HR data completeness
- Manage unemployment or other claims responses and maintain vendor relationships when needed
- Coordinate accounting activities and monitor reporting requirements
- Analyze HR business processes and provide insights to improve effectiveness and efficiency
- Contribute to HR projects involving process improvement, automation, and efficiencies
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- Human Resources certification preferred
- 3–5 years of experience working in Human Resources in a generalist capacity
- Solid understanding of HR practices
- Knowledge of employment law and regulations
- Ability to build and sustain successful relationships at all organizational levels
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with ability to multitask
- Ability to self-motivate, work independently, and work as part of a team
- Effective in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
- Ability to prioritize work using independent judgment
