About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Conduct initial medical assessments of clients and administer medications as ordered
Document client concerns and communicate patient needs, changes, and psychiatric emergencies to the Nurse Manager
Provide patient education and referrals
Enter prescriptions into electronic client records
Transcribe doctor’s orders
Generate and review reports
Maintain adequate inventory of controlled substances
Provide medication-assisted treatment and counseling services within the Opioid Treatment Program
Support services including individual and group therapy, health and wellness education, annual physical evaluations, lab work, and monthly pregnancy visits

Requirements

What you’ll need

Valid and current Massachusetts licensure as an RN or LPN
Current certification in CPR
Experience with addiction treatment services preferred, but not required
Must be vaccinated against influenza as a condition of employment
