About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Delivers the highest quality service to patients while contributing to the smooth functioning of practice operations
- Provides support, training and shares knowledge with other Medical Assistants
- Identifies and resolves OSHA compliance issues
- Greets patients and serves as a communication resource
- Takes complete and accurate information from patients in person and by phone
- Obtains vitals, weight, blood pressure, pulse and temperature, performs EKGs, injections and/or phlebotomy
- Implements quality control standards
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School diploma or GED required
- Medical Assistant Certificate required
- 1-3 years related work experience required
- Experience with computer systems required, including web based applications and some Microsoft Office applications which may include Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint or Access.
