About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provides high quality, direct patient care in a team-based model to our BIDHC patients
  • Assists patient over the course of their visit
  • Communicates clearly with patient and team
  • Performs medical assisting duties under proper supervision
  • Essential to Population Health efforts
  • Monitors, orders, and/or maintains medical equipment and supplies
  • Works within the electronic health record system (EHR)
  • Schedules related diagnostic and lab tests

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School diploma or GED required
  • Minimum of 6 months clinical classroom
  • 0-1 years related work experience or customer service related experience in any field
  • Graduate from BILH Primary Care Clinical Assistant Training program preferred
  • EMT Basic License preferred or Phlebotomy Certificate preferred or other healthcare training preferred
