About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Leads development, implementation, and evaluation of efforts related to student academic achievement
- Oversees school operations and staff
- Ensures programs provide a superior, safe, proven learning environment for youth and their families
- Understands student IEP goals and plans accordingly
- Coordinates and oversees the implementation of IEP documents
- Enhances curriculum and alignment with MA state standards

Requirements
What you’ll need- Master in Special Education is required preferred
- Requirement for a school administrator (principal or higher) license
- 5 years + of experience
- Experience working with individuals with learning, developmental and/or emotional issues preferred
- Strong planning and implementation skills
- Good working knowledge of data reporting and analysis skills
- Ability to relate to youth with a diverse culture, backgrounds and needs in a sensitive manner
- Interest and willingness to work in a multicultural setting
- Customer service orientation.
- Manages difficult or emotional situations; responds promptly to youth needs.
- Computer literate in standard desktop applications such as Windows, Word, and Excel
