About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Maintains the PACS (Picture Archive Communication System)
- Keeps the system operating at maximum efficiency
- Applies upgrades, tests for problems, and troubleshoots
- Maintain Radiology Information System by monitoring the interface work queue
- Supports voice recognition dictation system
- Tests upgrades, patches, and new implementations with vendors
- Orients and trains staff as necessary
- Collaborates with PACs Systems Coordinator and the IS department
- Advises, updates, and notifies Radiology management and staff of computer information
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in related field
- At least 3 years experience in a clinical position in the medical field
- At least 2 years Information Systems (IS) experience
- Radiology IS experience preferred
- Knowledge of Epic Radiant, Meditech Magic, McKesson PACS, MModal voice recognition or similar systems
