About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models supporting clinical, operational, and financial analytics
- Lead the design and development of enterprise data warehouses , data marts, dimensional models , and analytic semantic layers optimized for reporting and self‑service analytics
- Architect and support data solutions built on Epic Clarity and Caboodle , and related data sources
- Partner with Epic analysts, clinical informatics, and data engineering teams to understand data structures, workflows, and integration points
- Support the development of financial, clinical, quality reporting, and operational reporting and dashboards
- Ensure accurate extraction, transformation, and mapping of Epic clinical system data into enterprise data warehouses and reporting environments
- Prepare and manage data for AI/ML training, inference, and automation
- Oversee ETL/ELT pipelines to ensure efficient, reliable, and well‑documented data movement
- Design and implement modern data warehousing technologies (cloud or on‑prem)
- Establish and maintain data quality frameworks , validation rules, and monitoring processes
- Ensure data accuracy, completeness, consistency, and timeliness across clinical and operational domains
- Translate business and clinical requirements into scalable data structures aligned with industry best practices
- Collaborate with data governance teams to define metadata, lineage, and master data standards
- Architect and support enterprise reporting solutions using Power BI and other BI tools
- Provide guidance to analysts and business users on best practices for dashboard design and data consumption
- Collaborate with clinical, operational, and technical teams to deliver end‑to‑end analytics solutions
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree is required
- 10+ years of related work experience is required in Business Intelligence, Analytics Frameworks and Data Architecture
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in EPIC analytics products
- Proficiency in SQL and ETL/ELT tools
- Experience designing and supporting Power BI or similar BI platforms
- Experience working in a healthcare or clinical analytics environment
