About the role
- Responsible for triaging patient intake/transfer calls
- Serves as liaison with system referral partners
- Conducts ASAM screenings for all members seeking service
- Ensures optimal intake and bed placement of patients
- Maintains professional communication with internal and external clients
Requirements
- Bachelor degree preferred
- Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or one or more years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to adapt to changes in the workplace
- Attention to detail
- Must be able to key into computer
- Experience with EMR systems desirable.
