About the role
- Initiates patient care process upon written referral
- Formulates a plan of care based on patient assessment
- Implements the plan of care in accordance with established Hand Therapy modalities
- Reassesses patient's progress toward established goals
- Promotes patient involvement in treatment through education and instruction
- Develops educational materials for distribution
- Participates in supervision and instruction of Occupational Therapy students
- Participates in staff meetings and new program development
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy required
- MA Occupational Therapist License (renewed every 2 years)
- 3-5 years minimum work experience
