• Under the supervision of the manager, assess, plan, organize, and participate in rehabilitative programs that improve or restore physical function, alleviate pain and prevent dysfunction in patients.
• Examine patients using appropriate testing methods.
• Develop treatment plan and patient outcomes, ensuring functional, time-based, and measurable goals.
• Safely and effectively implement treatment interventions.
• Provide patient/family education during therapy and in preparation for discharge.
• Initiate discharge planning and document discharge summary according to department policy.
• Maintain thorough and accurate medical record documentation.
• Meet departmental productivity standards and apply knowledge of Quality Improvement Initiatives.
