About the role
- Coordinate patient care for assigned caseload including delegation and supervision of PTA staff
- Complete patient assessments and develop specific plans of care
- Initiate appropriate preventive and rehabilitative therapy procedures
- Communicate with patients, families, and healthcare providers regarding therapy needs
- Complete documentation in accordance with agency policies
Requirements
- Physical Therapist with current licensure to practice in Massachusetts
- Active American Health Association BLS (or annual BILHAH BLS Competency)
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program; DPT preferred
- Minimum of 1-2 years physical therapy experience, preferably in public health or home care
- OASIS experience preferred
- Must be a licensed driver with an insured automobile in good working order
- Self-directed and able to work with minimal supervision
