Sales Manager – LATAM, Water and Environmental Technologies

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Remote-based sales management using technical skills and experience with bioaugmentation in water and wastewater treatment to secure new accounts and grow business within existing key accounts.
- Elevate the EnviroZyme brand and technologies into an internationally recognized leader in environmental bioaugmentation by leveraging your technical expertise in the municipal and industrial markets to grow overall market share.
- Responsible for growth and maintenance of existing and new accounts for the WET group.
- Responsible for pre-qualifying sales leads from advertisement, trade shows, and on-line research tools, then performing the appropriate follow up.
- Works closely with Customer Service to respond to inquiries and provide technical guidance.
- Ability to technically troubleshoot environmental system issues and make product recommendations for existing and potential customers.
- Responsible for maintaining CRM as it relates to contact information and call history for reporting and tracking of customer contact.
- Responsible for maintaining and documenting a robust and accurate sales pipeline.
- Customer care and new customer orientation.
- Manages and mediates production/logistics/distribution issues.
- Works collaboratively with team members on the custom fermentation side of the business.
- Stays current with internal systems, processes, products, promotions and competitive trends.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in biology, Microbiology, Chemistry, Environmental or Chemical Engineering or other related technical disciplines
- 10 years’ experience in a sales or sales support capacity within the water or wastewater treatment field and/or related environmental industries
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent technical acumen
- Fully computer literate MS Office - Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Experience with Salesforce or other CRM software
- Bilingual skills, fluent in English and Spanish is a must. Proficient in Portuguese is a plus.
