About the role
- Review, draft, and negotiate all types of contracts (sponsorship, brand ambassador, partnership, affiliate, etc.) and legal documents related to the company’s operations
- Oversee contract execution in close collaboration with the marketing teams
- Provide legal support for group projects and advise teams on all legal matters
- Supervise communication strategies and the organization of promotional operations (national campaigns) in collaboration with the compliance teams
- Ensure the legal framework and compliance of promotional operations and related communications (legal notices, contest rules, visual approvals, IP, etc.)
- Maintain and ensure the compliance of the website’s terms and conditions
- Contribute to the management of international cross-functional marketing projects
- Monitor legislative and regulatory developments applicable to the company’s activities (advertising and media law, intellectual property, consumer law, etc.)
- Manage and work closely with external counsel on any pre-litigation matters
- Contribute to training and raising awareness among marketing teams regarding legal and regulatory constraints related to our activities.
Requirements
- Master’s degree (Master II) in Business Law / Contract Law
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience in an international environment, preferably within the digital sector
- International experience (e.g., an LL.M.) is a plus
- Strong command of Contract and Commercial Law with proven expertise in negotiating a wide range of agreements
- Knowledge and/or expertise in Advertising Law, Intellectual Property, and Consumer Law
- Knowledge of Sports Law is a plus
- Strong interest in digital marketing and familiarity with project management and negotiation methodologies
- Proficient with office and digital tools; excellent analytical and organizational skills, structured approach, contractual rigor, and absolute confidentiality
- Fluent in both written and spoken English and French.
