About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Partner with product managers and business stakeholders to gain a deep understanding of their current and upcoming challenges
Deliver insightful analyses with clear, actionable recommendations that drive product improvements and measurable business impact
Identify high-value opportunities to unlock business potential and support product and commercial decision-making
Develop decision-making tools and analytical frameworks to support data-driven initiatives
Collaborate closely with Data Product Managers, Data Scientists and analytics peers to deliver impactful solutions
Contribute to analytical best practices and help foster a strong data-driven culture across the organization
Work closely with product stakeholders and the Sports Data Product Owner to shape analytical initiatives and support key business decisions
Regularly engage with product teams and business stakeholders, bringing a strong analytical perspective to strategic discussions and helping teams make better data-informed decisions

Requirements

What you’ll need

Master's degree in statistics, data analytics, or a related field
At least 3 years of experience in data analytics, consistently delivering relevant, actionable, data-driven recommendations with measurable business impact
Business-minded: able to translate analysis into actionable, high-impact recommendations
Strong analytical mindset; rigorous and able to synthesize complex information
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Proficient in SQL and Python
Familiar with at least one data visualization tool
Proactive and eager to grow and continue learning
Able to independently manage analytical projects and drive them from discovery to delivery
Agile and able to adapt in a fast-paced environment
Bonus: experience with an additional programming language
Familiar with Git and version control concepts
