About the role

  • Coordinate the consolidated closing calendar in close collaboration with FP&A and accounting teams.
  • Supervise the collection of financial data from Group entities in France and abroad.
  • Ensure the quality and efficiency of intercompany processes.
  • Produce and document recurring consolidation entries with a high level of rigor and accuracy.
  • Prepare IFRS notes and other consolidated financial communication materials for the Group’s shareholder (Banijay Group).
  • Build, maintain and structure robust financial histories to support ad-hoc analyses.
  • Draft technical IFRS memos on complex topics and new accounting treatments.
  • Act as the key point of contact for auditors regarding accounting treatments and supporting documentation.
  • Maintain a structured, transparent and trust-based relationship.
  • Play a leading role in the launch and structuring of the new consolidation tool.
  • Propose, challenge and monitor evolutions: chart of accounts, consolidation rules, mappings, reporting, retrieve processes, etc.
  • Actively contribute to related projects: migration, flow optimization and continuous improvement.
  • Participate in M&A development activities: due diligences, scope changes, purchase price allocations (PPA).
  • Coordinate the work of external experts (WACC reviews, purchase price allocation, etc.)

Requirements

  • 5 to 7 years of experience in audit, consolidation or group controlling within an international group
  • Strong foundations in general accounting
  • Proven expertise in consolidation principles and IFRS standards
  • Experience with a consolidation tool (ideally OneStream, HFM, Tagetik, SAP BFC, etc.)
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel
  • Professional proficiency in English and French
  • High standards and strong attention to detail
  • Ability to secure financial information in a demanding environment
  • Strong analytical mindset, autonomy and ability to prioritize
  • Curiosity, proactivity and a strong interest in solving complex issues
  • Excellent interpersonal skills in an international and cross-functional environment
