About the role
- Provide leadership for the team and organization.
- Accountable for ensuring timely and accurate completion of the department’s tasks (Collections, Proxy Support, Disclosure/NOBO processing).
- Interact with clients to assist with queries related to invoices and payments.
- Coordinate with finance to reconcile payment discrepancies.
- Manage escalations with department leaders related to invoice challenges.
- Support Proxy team for material requests, inventory maintenance tasks.
- Ensure completion of NPI data based requests of Shareholder Disclosure files and Nobo Files.
- Accountable for the department’s SLA performance.
- Accountable for ensuring all procedures and processes meet global regulatory requirements.
- Responsible for training, mentoring, and assessing staff performance.
- Interpret, develop, and implement operational policies and procedures for functions of low to moderate complexity within the designated scope of responsibility.
- Exercise sound judgment to allocate resources, set priorities, and resolve operational issues to ensure the team meets business objectives.
- Provide mentorship and professional development to direct reports.
Requirements
- 6+ years of relevant experience with essential managerial competencies preferably within the financial services industry
- Solid understanding of financial services operations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools including Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, and Visio, as well as familiarity with SQL
- Experience working with NetSuite
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
- Proven daily communication and interaction skills with clients, operations teams, industry peers, and external partners
- Ability to effectively manage staff workload, priorities, and seasonal fluctuations
- Forward-thinking approach with the ability to anticipate departmental needs and identify opportunities to enhance processes and data collection.
- Exceptional organizational skills and high attention to detail.
- Solid research and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
- Ability to build, motivate, and support teams.
