About the role

  • In a professional, agile Kanban team you will take responsibility for the entire software lifecycle: software engineering & architecture
  • Conceptualize, design and develop high-performance, distributed Java backends for the Garancy IAM Suite
  • Design scalable and secure software architectures (e.g., modular, event-driven, API-based)
  • Develop high-quality features in Java following Clean Code and security-by-design principles
  • Create automated tests, participate in code reviews, and actively reduce technical debt
  • Support the entire development process from requirements analysis through implementation, quality assurance and documentation
  • Collaborate closely with product owners, UX and business units, and technically present new features
  • Use and improve our build and deployment pipelines (GitLab, SonarQube, Docker)
  • Optimize performance and monitor distributed systems

Requirements

  • Several years of solid professional experience in Java backend development
  • Strong understanding of distributed systems, architectural principles and software design
  • Experience with CI/CD, automated testing and structured development processes
  • High quality standards and the ability to deliver secure, maintainable codebases
  • Team-oriented working style and professional communication skills
