About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Be a first point of contact for hardware or software issues across Windows, Mac, and Linux.
- Help manage user identities, SSO, and MFA in JumpCloud under guidance.
- Support the daily management of Google Workspace and Slack (onboarding, permissions, and groups).
- Assist with the hardware lifecycle - unboxing and prepping laptops for new starters, coordinating repairs, and helping with offboarding.
- Help keep endpoints patched and antivirus running, and support MFA adoption across the team.
- Use Jira to track and organize your tasks, and contribute to internal troubleshooting guides as you learn the ropes.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Some exposure to IT support or helpdesk work (internship, entry-level role, or personal projects count).
- Basic familiarity with Windows, macOS, and Linux.
- A foundational understanding of networking basics (Wi-Fi, VPN, general connectivity concepts).
- Curiosity about IAM or MDM tools - no prior hands-on experience with JumpCloud required, just willingness to learn.
- Willingness to learn the Google Workspace Admin Console (training provided).
- A genuine enjoyment for problem-solving and helping your colleagues get back to work.
- An eagerness to understand the "why" behind security practices like patching and MFA, not just follow steps.
