About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Take full architectural accountability for the existing frontend ecosystem across many B2C casino brands
Lead the greenfield frontend development of a brand-new, scalable, and ultra-performant B2B casino platform
Ensure existing B2C brands remain cutting-edge, secure, and blazing fast while the B2B platform is built
Drive architectural decisions, establish best practices, and run rigorous code reviews
Mentor, manage, and inspire a distributed, remote team of 20–25 frontend engineers (including Team Leads and Senior Devs)
Foster a culture of accountability, high performance, continuous learning, and psychological safety
Champion the integration of AI
Partner closely with Product, Design, Backend, and DevOps teams to turn complex business requirements into sleek, real-time user experiences.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Exceptional proficiency in JavaScript, React, and modern cloud infrastructure (AWS)
Sveltekit is a huge plus!
Successfully managed remote frontend teams of 20–25 engineers (ideally through leads)
Ability to optimize React applications for low-latency, real-time data updates, and high traffic volume
Strong understanding of how frontend applications deploy and scale within an AWS ecosystem (CloudFront, S3, CI/CD pipelines, etc.)
Prior experience in the iGaming/Casino industry is a massive plus
Ability to keep a large, distributed team aligned, motivated, and communicating effectively across different time zones.
