About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead ongoing improvements to the Product Development Lifecycle (PDLC) — the processes, rituals, and tooling Product Managers rely on every day — in direct support of Product Management leadership and its goal of maximizing team output and product quality.
  • Own the product roadmap: the tooling systems, infrastructure, and governance that keep our roadmap complete, accurate, and visible to every stakeholder who depends on it.
  • Partner directly with Product Management leadership to identify bottlenecks and friction in the PDLC and design solutions that improve PM velocity, quality, and consistency.
  • Build and maintain "ready-to-develop & prioritized" backlog standards, and help enforce PRD quality before products move into development.
  • Lead process enablement: templates, playbooks, RACI, and rituals that scale with the team.
  • Architect and maintain our product operations technical stack, engineering robust configurations in Jira/Confluence and developing automated system integrations.
  • Identify and implement AI-powered tools and workflows that meaningfully speed up PM work — requirements drafting, backlog grooming, synthesis of customer insight — with an eye toward measurable efficiency gains.
  • Establish governance standards for roadmap data (date confidence levels, field hygiene, update cadence) across all PMs.
  • Ensure the roadmap is complete, accurate, and easily accessible to key stakeholders.
  • Build reporting/dashboards giving leadership visibility into roadmap health and delivery risk via native Jira dashboards and *new* AI-built dashboards.
  • Collaborate with TPM and Implementation Managers to ensure release operations are delivering on our roadmap commitments to customers.
  • Work with Product leadership to plan and facilitate team-wide events (e.g., product all-hands, onsites, monthly product reviews, etc.), handling logistics and coordination so the team can focus on the content and connection.
  • Own the function-specific onboarding experience for new product managers
  • Define and track metrics on Product team performance and process health.
  • Provide Product leadership regular visibility into capacity and process health.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in product operations, product management, or similar roles within high-growth tech companies
  • Extensive experience with product management and collaboration tools:
  • Must have: Jira/Confluence, Claude (or other leading AI system)
  • Good to have: Jira Product Discovery, Cursor, Notion
  • Proven track record of implementing and optimizing product development processes, metrics frameworks, and operational systems that drive efficiency and quality
  • Experience with agile methodologies and the ability to adapt processes to fit different team needs while maintaining organizational alignment
  • Experience leading or actively contributing to a team's shift toward AI-native ways of working — identifying where AI genuinely changes the shape of a workflow versus where it's just noise, and helping a team adopt it with real discipline.
  • Outstanding communication and stakeholder management abilities, with experience influencing cross-functional teams and executive leadership
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple high-priority initiatives simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with resource planning, capacity management, and budgeting processes to optimize team efficiency and product delivery
  • Possess a strong data-driven approach to product operations having developed metrics, dashboards, and reporting frameworks that provide visibility into product performance and team effectiveness
